Did you know that Canine Cancer affects 1 out of every 3 dogs?
According to the National Canine Cancer Foundation, a major project funded by the National Institute of Health has mapped the genome sequence of the dog and the mapping of the genome sequence will be instrumental in finding a cure for canine cancer.
The National Canine Cancer Foundation’s website WeAreTheCure.org provides valuable information on canine cancer, including articles on specific cancers, and a must read for every dog owner: The 10 early warning signs.

The very nicely done website also offers a contact form where you can submit your question about canine cancer to one of their doctors or researchers, as well as a blog and an online shop where you can purchase items with their pink paw logo.
Please show your support, together we can help them find a cure that will help our four legged friends. Wear the pink paw and make a difference!
