I don’t know about you, but in the summer months, if I leave the house without my sunglasses I usually get a headache. That’s why when I found this site I knew it was perfect for my dog Jessie.

A Wig and a Dog? Or how about a wig and a cat? Sounds hilarious to me, funny, funky and too good to pass. Several online shops sell wigs for dogs and cats and a lot of people are jumping on this trend.

My cats Mia Tortilla and Fuffy will probably let me pose them with wigs but for sure they will not wear them. Jessie the Rhodesian Ridgeback will probably be freaked out but Louie the Chihuahua might wear one.

I think the wigs are a cool accessory for a photo shoot and some animals do have the personality to wear them but I think most of them will just enjoy playing with the wigs.

I know these days everyone wants to take their pets around town. People can buy strollers, backpacks, carriers and a variety of items to take their dog or cat around. But how about other pets? How about birds?

Well, I found this cool PetPocket Bird Carrier at Doctors Foster and Smith’s site. I do not have a bird but have a couple of friends that do, and this to me sounds like the perfect gift for them!

Spring is almost here and with that comes a lot of outdoor activities like hiking and camping. We love taking our Rhodesian Ridgeback Jessie hiking with us – and she enjoys the time we spend together – but usually there are a lot of things to pack. When I hear “pet manicure” I flinch. I flinch because I usually have to chase my pets around as they know what is coming when I show up with the nail clippers. The task is usually a difficult one and it is one of my least favorite things to do. I fear hurting them and wounding their trust in me so I was thrilled to be introduced to PediPaws™, a tool that promised to file their nails smoothly without much fuss.

Jessie Girl my Rhodesian Ridgeback eats so fast I guarantee you she cannot taste anything. She scarfs the food fast and noisily.

Is that healthy? No way. And besides not being healthy, she is done eating in one second and then tries to eat Louie’s food (Louie is a little Chihuahua).

We have tried everything and nothing has worked. The opposite is true, the more things we tried, a faster eater Jessie became. A week ago I borrowed a DogPause Bowl from a friend that just bought in Colorado.

I was amazed when we did our own test and realized that we were witnessing Jessie eat her meal in normal speed and not super speed. Wow! Mind you Jessie Girl was way faster then Hank the dog on the video, but sure enough she slowed down and the food lasted longer.

Is there a margin of error?

Of course, every test has that. Even the ones human take, are not totally fool proof. But I guarantee, you will have more fun testing your pooch with this one.

Is this a test that takes a long time?

Nope, according to the manufacturer it takes one hour to complete, and you can test your pooch more than once. So, if you feel that your dog is not really scoring, or maybe it is not having a great day, do the test again. Of course when you do it again, your dog might already know the answers.
