A Wig and a Dog? Or how about a wig and a cat? Sounds hilarious to me, funny, funky and too good to pass. Several online shops sell wigs for dogs and cats and a lot of people are jumping on this trend.
Wiggles Dog Wigs - Doll Face
My cats Mia Tortilla and Fuffy will probably let me pose them with wigs but for sure they will not wear them. Jessie the Rhodesian Ridgeback will probably be freaked out but Louie the Chihuahua might wear one.
In any case there are some cool shops out there that are devoted to wigs.
Kitty Wigs have some cool pictures of cats wearing the wigs.
Wiggles Dog Wigs has several shapes, colors and sizes for dogs and cats.
Total Diva Pets offers several styles and a cool photo gallery.
I think the wigs are a cool accessory for a photo shoot and some animals do have the personality to wear them but I think most of them will just enjoy playing with the wigs.
If you do own a wig and have cool pictures, send us one and we’ll start a photo gallery.
I know these days everyone wants to take their pets around town. People can buy strollers, backpacks, carriers and a variety of items to take their dog or cat around. But how about other pets? How about birds?
Well, I found this cool PetPocket Bird Carrier at Doctors Foster and Smith’s site. The vest-style pet carrier is perfect for a small bird or even a lizard, the carrier has a mesh fabric that promotes airflow and visibility, that way your bird can feel the breeze and see everything around. Way cool!
According to the site you can:
“Easily transport your bird – to the veterinarian or the park – and keep him close, safe, and secure. Hands-free, vest-style bird carrier has padded shoulder straps and quick-clip waist strap for comfort. Durable mesh fabric allows good airflow and visibility for your bird. Zippered opening at top and bottom allows access. Removable bottom tray catches messes and wipes clean easily.”
The PetPocket Bird Carrier includes a perch and two toy hanging loops. For small and medium size birds, such as parakeets, canaries, finches, budgies, and lovebirds. The bird carrier costs $29.99.
I do not have a bird but have a couple of friends that do, and this to me sounds like the perfect gift for them!
Spring is almost here and with that comes a lot of outdoor activities like hiking and camping. We love taking our Rhodesian Ridgeback Jessie hiking with us – and she enjoys the time we spend together – but usually there are a lot of things to pack. This year we decided to get her some gear made especially for her. I searched around and I found the perfect accessory for out outings:
A saddlebag style backpack that straps to her back and lets her carry a few items. These saddlebag packs come in three sizes, small, medium and large and are made with a heavy duty polyester material but feature a breathable mesh on the back, so it is not too hot for Jessie.

According to the manufacturer:
- Saddlebag-style pack with dual main compartments.
- Compression straps to secure load.
- Breathable mesh back with pocket.
- Adjustable buckle straps with elastic and fleece trim.
- Heavy-duty polyester fabric.
- 1145 cu. in. capacity.
We are excited to gearing Jessie up for an awesome hiking trip to the mountains.
