Jessie Girl my Rhodesian Ridgeback eats so fast I guarantee you she cannot taste anything. She scarfs the food fast and noisily.
Is that healthy? No way. And besides not being healthy, she is done eating in one second and then tries to eat Louie’s food (Louie is a little Chihuahua).
We have tried everything and nothing has worked. The opposite is true, the more things we tried, a faster eater Jessie became. A week ago I borrowed a DogPause Bowl from a friend that just bought in Colorado.
I was amazed when we did our own test and realized that we were witnessing Jessie eat her meal in normal speed and not super speed. Wow! Mind you Jessie Girl was way faster then Hank the dog on the video, but sure enough she slowed down and the food lasted longer.

Summer is almost here and not only do we get beautiful days to take our dogs to the park, we get a whole new wardrobe full of colorful outfits too. That is not the case for my dog. We have a Chihuahua, Louie, who is a loveable crabby old dog that we love dearly. Louie cannot stand clothes except when the weather is cold, then little Louie lets me dress him in whatever I want to. I got him a couple of new outfits and I have to confess I am seriously enjoying playing dress up with Louie.
The last outfit I got him was this one a cute cammo pajama. Cute!
Since Louie does not enjoy summer dress up, and I am a strong believer in making my pets happy; I will have to turn my fashion attention someplace else. Thankfully the 2 new additions across the street will let me do just that…
